Slide Show Framework for River Restoration

Client:   Natural Resources Defense Council

After a decade long battle to secure support for restoring the dam-impaired San Joaquin River, NRDC needed to present the rationale and plans for the restoration to a wide range of audiences and asked GreenInfo to design a unique slide show framework.

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) has been a leader in the long fight to restore the great San Joaquin River of Central California. Court battles and legislation finally resulted in program to return water flows to most of the river, restore riparian and riverine functions and improve local economic use of the river, which channels water from the central Sierra to the California Delta.

In order to help NRDC communicate with a wide range of government, business and private interests, GreenInfo was asked to develop a modular PowerPoint presentation that could be "mixed and matched" into custom presentations. In addition to designing an overall graphic look and feel, GreenInfo prepared illustration maps and "flythrough" animations, and crafted the main four modules of the presentation system.
