Our mapping technologies are primarily based on open source software.
We often rely on Django, a stable, mature, open-source Python-based web framework that integrates well with PostGIS, a robust and scalable relational database.
This combines the best features of geospatial filtering and querying
capabilities, with a relational database so geospatial features can be
linked to comments, user permissions, media and hyperlinks, and so on.
We also use MapServer for spatial querying and data display, In the browser, we use a range of tools to present spatial data, including Leaflet and MapLibre. Finally, we can work with ArcGIS services and Esri ArcGIS Online applications.
